Bon fête de la jour de Bastille! Yes, today we celebrate the fact that on July 14, 1789, some angry Parisians stormed the Bastille, severed some heads and put them on pikes. Gotta love the French!
Since I have spent most of today baking and cooking and baking some more for our Bastille Day celebration, I don't have a long blog in me. I do want to give you something to consider for the plane ride. Wear something comfortable that you can layer. Although it will be hot out, planes can get pretty chilly - at least have a sweater/sweatshirt handy in your carry-on. Also, wear something that you really, really like. The clothing you put on Monday morning, you will wear for around 36 hours before you have the chance to change. Until tomorrow...
